A little bit about me

This is in Seattle. I really enjoyed taking photos over there.

What's up yall? My name is Justin, but my nickname is Jay. I'm a composer, musician, fashionisto, amateur model, artist, and poet from Chicago. 
Getting to know people is pretty fun for me. Obviously, relating to the person plays into that. But I also like challenging some preconceived notions I may have. I figure you may be wondering some things reading this, so I'll introduce myself!Some cool things about me initially are:

• I'm 1/4th Filipino 
• I have composed music for Mark-Anthony Turnage
• My favorite genre of literature is Late Modern and Early Romantic
• I've never seen The Godfather
• My dream is to live in Ireland for a little while

Over the past couple years, I have come to cultivate a creative way of life. My expressions, feelings, and stories shine through many mediums of "Art." However, there is something more to me than being creative. If I were John Donne, I'd have something really extensive and lengthy to say, but to put it simply: art makes me more than just happy. I have shared my art throughout the years and have shared many smiles in return. My thought is that people can relate to at least one form of art. I've seen some people grin when I play the piano, and others when I finish a painting. For me, it's only fair to give back what has been given to me.
