Last night, I went to the House of Blues for the first time in my life! The first band that played was pretty chill. I dunno the names of either bands that played, but this one (the second band)was very cool.
The curtains opened up and I saw a dude on the synth, another on the drums and a bassist. It seemed kinda new to me, and it was. If an electrical outlet and rock had a baby, it would be this band: electronic/rock.
Not to mention I danced my vatookhus off.
I've dreamed of living in Chicago. Suburbia was nice, but now I can let my creativity flourish. If you live in Chi-city or know of anybody who does, hit me up. Because what's art if it isn't shared? (Paraphrase on the last line of Razia's Shadow)
